Ok, NEW SCOOP. We had a slight setback due to planing information that was not good. Primarly the insurance issue. Rest assured after a couple of weeks of negotions between us and Harrha's legal department, we now have a contract and things are back on track. As a result the bike games have been pulled (at least for this year) but not to fear we have other activities planned to take their place, and I rented some adult sized tricycles. The old Marine Corps motto "adapt and overcome" we have been having meetings every week now and there is a hundred details to work out as of yet. I have posted the route for the Poker Run below, it is about 40 miles through some really nice scenery in North Louisiana and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. I have already lined up the stops and the last one is a beer stop for those of you that have the need. We are lining up 4 Motels all owned buy the same company and all within 2 blocks of each other, they are just off I-20, easy to get to and in the center of Bossier's shopping district, with resturants, stores, liquor stores, gas stations all within walking distance. Located about 4 miles East of the event area and 4 miles West of the casinos. Scroll on down to the bottom of the page for the hotel information. We appointed PAPAW as the principal contact. he can be reached at papaw@vovmcla.org Entertainment is lined up, we have a couple of bands to play and they are meeting this weekend to iron out the details. I have a DJ rig and will be MCing and have music to fill in the dead air. Hopefully after our meeting Wednesday I'll have a schedule of events to post. Please note our flyer has changed again (due to some legalities required by Harrha's.) This thing is getting really close now and loose ends are starting to fall together so check back often.............
All of these things are subject to change without notice so keep coming back to get the latest scoop

This here is the Poker Run route. About 40 miles sme curves, hills, and some views of cypress lake and the swamp. If I get a chance this weekend I will update it a little to show the stops and points of interest.

Here is Hotel information for all my brothers coming from out of town. They are all within a couple of blocks of each other and real close to Bossier shopping center, Harley Shop, the event, etc. etc. The Roadway is the least expensive but it is still a pretty nice hotel. If I can answer any questions drop me or Papaw an email or you can call me on my cell (318)469-8946
